He took his first salsa/mambo class under the direction of Luis Zegarra, where he later on became a member of Fuerza Latina Dance Group. Since 1998,  he has had the opportunity to perform and teach at various Congresses worldwide  ranging from New York to as far as Hong Kong. Ismael has been featured in various music videos, movies, performing with various artists, and participated & won many competitions.   He founded the Caribbean Soul Dance Company in 1997. Ismael Otero aka "The Million Moves Man" wanted to show everyone his unique style and bring the best out of his dancers.  Together they have traveled all over the world to give everybody a taste of their special Caribbean Soul.  Using the creative dance form of the streets, combined with technique and a passion for the music, Ismael Otero created Caribbean Soul, known around the world as one of most exhilarating salsa dance groups who have maintained their place at the top of the game for more than 8 years.  Some world's best dancers were taught by him - names such as Griselle Ponce, Yesenia Peralta, Candy Mena, and more.   For more info on Ismael Otero please go to: www.ismaelotero.com "When i started dancing salsa, everyone was doing the same moves and steps. After taking some classes, I realized that I didn't want to look like everyone else, so I took my experience in hip hop choreography and incorporated it into my own moves. I would go to clubs and shock people with my new and original steps. People would ask me where I learned my shine. They were surprise to hear that I made them up myself. I saw the great reaction I received and continued to create more and more unique moves. Slowly, I began to get popular on the dance scene and created my own group. Although Caribbean Soul Dance Company was a bit sloppy at first, everyone was too busy in looking what we were doing instead of how we were doing it. We were so different that people never knew what to expect.  We kept people on their toes and satisfied their craving for more with our originality. I would just do the opposite of others dancers and groups to maintain a new flair." Shani Talmor- orginally from Israel, has mixed elements from jazz, ballet and belly dancing into her L.A. , Cuban, and N.Y. Style Salsa. Graduating from a prestigious instructors course at the Israeli Salsa Acadamy, the became teaching with Latino Del Mundo, the most recognized Lain and Salsa Company in Tel-Aviv.  Shani became a member of salsa delations organizing world wide salsa congressos and was recruited by Jonny Vasquez to join his salsa performance group as Johnny's permanent partner and the groups primer female dancer.  WIth Jonny Vasques y Su Imperia Azteca, Shani toured Europe, Spain, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belguim, Poland and Switzerland performing and teaching ladies how to style with sexy and smooth body movements. IN 2005 Shani moved to New York to expand her dance repertoires.. where she enrolled in classes at Broadway Center to tackle ballet, Jazz and street jazz.  She met Ismael and began performing with his dance group, Caribbean Soul and teaching at Soho Dance Studio.  Shani and Ismael are showing how well their different backgrounds and styles have become one as she blends their two styles into an expressive medium of turn patterns and ladies styling.         NEW ZUMBA DVD's HAVE BEEN RELEASED!   & Jess & Tony are in em!!
